The company also rolled out five apps, specifically for transporters, companies, drivers,franchisees and marketing, its key stakeholders. It will use technology to bring in order transparency, real-time consignment tracking, reverse logistics, and security of goods. To ensure safety and security, the platform has verified its drivers as per stringent KYC norms and has also enabled Vehicle Tracking Systems on every vehicle for geo-location tracking. Furthering its commitment to drivers’ welfare, Logistics Junction also has Welfare Programs for vehicle owners, transporters, truck drivers, and their families. It conducts a Rewards and Recognition program for drivers who make on-time deliveries to improve efficiency and boost their motivation. Suresh Lakhotia, Founder, Logistics Junction, said, "We want to bring about a major shift in the way things work and give them the dignity and respect they deserve for all the hard-work they put in.”
The company is currently operational in Pune and plans to expand to other cities by the end of 2016. Active since January 2016, it said it has over 7,500customers and 198,423 vehicles on-board already and aims to take this number to 1,00,000 customers and 50,00,000 vehicles by the end of this year.
