Fitness is a subject that is never far from Kavin Bharti Mittal’s mind. He has spoken in the past about working out regularly as a must to keep pace with his hectic 14-15 hour long work days. It’s not just about physical fitness but also about maintaining an internal equilibrium.
For that, the 30-something Hike Messenger founder has relied on daily meditation for some time now. He had told ETPanache earlier that he meditates every day for at least half an hour, morning and evening. Recently, it turns out, he’s hit a new high on that front: a 365-day streak, with 1982 sessions and a cumulative 725 hours and six minutes of ‘mindful minutes,’ using a popular meditation app.

As he shared this achievement on social media, Mittal wrote, “Gosh. It started off as a tiny habit over four years ago. This is now sown into my daily routine. If I were to look back, this practice has had by far the biggest impact on my life. I can’t thank my younger self enough. That kid was wise.” Onwards to besting his own milestone then?
